What the add-on reads

• The text in the cells you select, only when you click Add furigana or Remove furigana.
• Your Gemini API key, which you enter yourself.

It does not read other cells, other spreadsheets, your email, or your contacts.

Where your data goes

When you click Add furigana, the selected text is sent to Google's Gemini API to get the readings. It goes with your own API key. Google's Gemini API terms apply to that request.

Nothing is sent anywhere else. The add-on has no server of its own.

What is stored

• Your Gemini API key is saved in your own Google account using Apps Script user properties. Only you can see it.
• The readings are written into your spreadsheet.

The developer does not collect, store, see, or sell any of your data.

Removing your data

To stop the add-on, uninstall it, or remove its access under Third-party apps & services at myaccount.google.com.
